Coaching with CNSA

Pass on the game you love

Coach softball with CNSA.

Great coaches shape great players, and even better people. Coaching with CNSA is a fantastic opportunity to develop the next generation, deepen your own understanding of the game, and give back to a community that thrives on volunteers. Whether you want to help out at your local club or take on a representative team, there is a role and a pathway for you.

Accreditation and training

Getting accredited

If you are interested in coaching, the Softball NSW coaching accreditation page has all the latest information and links to accreditation courses. CNSA supports you along the way. Our Coaches Committee, led by the Coaches Convenor, raises coaching standards, runs development sessions and encourages formal accreditation, so you are never coaching alone.

The representative pathway

Coaching representative softball

Our representative programme is run by our representative liaison officers alongside head coaches and officials, across junior boys, junior girls and seniors. All CNSA representative appointments for 2026 have been made. We will be taking new applications for the 2027 representative programme in late 2026, so now is the time to get your club coaching under way and put your hand up when applications open.
